Devlog n°1
Okay one more tiny week, I forgot about the sound design stuff ...
🎨 Art assets
Let's be honest, I underestimated the amount of time required for the art. It's taking forever to draw all the sprites :l
But I have to say the Sexy Game is kinda cool to look at OwO
In this TODO list you'll find the Tower, the Wooden Wall, the sprites for the male fox and a lot of sprite for the skeletons!
📚 Better UI and Wiki
One of the issue with the first version of Daggan was the complexity of the game. A super long tutorial was then required.
I simplified the gameplay (no more painful survival), updated the UI and added a big in-game Wiki to now help the player.
And if it's not enough? Why not enjoy the Pacific game mode and have fun exploring the map and building Houses.
📅 A release date?
The new version of the game will be published this January.
I'm currently adding the art assets and polishing the UI and the gameplay.
Then I'll organize some Playtests just to be sure everything's right UwU

Look forward to the update. Should I assume that if the survival element is being taken out, that there will be more of a focus on the rts elements and town building? Or are the survival elements just being reduced to more mild play and simple mechanics?
Oh right I focused the gameplay on the survival and skilltree. So the player can choose different strategies (big army, huge walls, super powerful attacks, etc). I realized the survival elements don't really work with lot of units to manage UwU I wan to make it satisfying to train a big army :3
