Last secret devlog of the year


Last weeks before the release, it's not stressful at all.

My final boss

I have so much stuff to do this December! Sound design, player and enemies sprites, sexy animations, UI design, buildings models and textures, FXs and icons for the skills. It's gonna be a super tough month UwU

I may not be able to publish it  exactly in time, cause I want it to be as polished as possible. It's gonna be clean and nice for the first release. And each next release will add a big fat brick to the whole game! But just in case, be prepared for one Cyberpunk2077 move.

More art

Among other things, I studied the Unity's shader graph a lot to make customizable materials, animated vegetation, procedural sky and terrain.

Thankfully I was able to reuse all the art I made from the first Daggan, my lovely prototype! The last missing asset is the gold resource. Aaaah, I love gold too. I'm not gonna lie, it was insanely painful to draw a ton of sprites of skeletons. I understand why there are so much cubic goo monsters in games.

Oh, I may need to commission a few more musics <3

Lot of bugs and balance

This is gonna be the tough step, fixing the issues before and right after the release.

Finally the game will probably stay a web-browser experience  until I link it to itch.io and patreon ! I'd like to avoid some weird websites to take my files and sell them on their crappy platforms, or pretend they pirated me. That was really annoying, especially cause the game is free.
