The game is fun, without the lack of proper management of the units and shoving them inside a defensive walled city, everyone is gonna be dead when night comes sadly.
The difficulty is not that much if you shove them really fast and expend some time making units (So you can gather resources fast and build a 1-2 walls thick stone wall), but even so, i wish the units would at least fight back.
They do the animation of shooting arrows, but they do 0 damage :(
If we could have lots of building types, and more weapons and all, i think this could become a giant survival game xD (but idk if that is the plan or just a survive waves game so lets keep at the last one :p)
Is the game supposed to be this intensely hard? Unless I force my allies into a box of defensive walls they all die even with four of them, and I'm left with no males, therefore no more people in the city, therefore... No more game, at least if I don't play on my own
I'm also curious, since I've never gotten more than a few nights without resetting, does the game end after 9 nights? I'd love to build up a massive city then reset what I want, not be timed to do well in 9 nights (If it doesn't end, that's great :D)
Aww ): I found out it gets much easier when you get a load of people (Unless you let more than like 5 monsters into your base) so I might play this when it's more interesting, since it seems like it could be really fun
I needed more feedback to balance the game and I received a lot of answers since the last release :3 So yes the difficulty and the a ton of things were improved and will be ready among all the addition of the next version UwU
I'd love too but it takes an insane amount of time to do the art and so far I'm working on the gameplay UwU I'll be able to work on the animations and the species probably mid 2021 I hope!
Wow, this game is honestly a blast. While a part of me kinda misses the semi-derpy 3D models and text-to-speech lines of the previous version. I am totally digging the style of these 2D models, The art for them is on point.
The gameplay itself is a really fun loop that has me coming back to play it even after beating it several times. Building a town out of nothing is just fun, and cathartic. The companions are honestly great, and the AI on them is pretty brilliant... most of the time, more on that later. But given for the most part the squad can handle themselves really frees up time to actually build, plan, and direct everyone around. Combat is mostly solid, with each arrow type having it's advantages and disadvantages, except the advanced arrow, which is strictly better than everything else (why does it shoot so fast!?)
Now for the downsides. Selecting certain allies is a pain, the current setup only allows for the selection of either "one person" or "everybody" with no in-between. This makes it difficult to partition the squad into different tasks, so either everybody's farming resources or building buildings. Maybe make it so holding the [Command] Button lets you select everyone you hover your crosshair over? That would make it easier to select small groups for certain tasks. Another pain is setting them to repair/build. specifically walls, when you set your peeps onto building a wall, they have a bad habit of trying to build the next wall through the wall they've currently built, essentially leaving themselves smacking dumbly at a already built wall. Maybe either having them stand closer to buildings they're working on or finding a way to have them spread out while building would help? If they're spread out, it'd be harder for the entire squad to get stuck on the same pixel while building. Finally a visual indicator as to where I'm directing the squad would be nice. The threshold between "follow me" and "Stay Here" is a little thin, and in some situations could mean the difference between life and death.
And idea for the future: maybe a "Rally Flag/Bell"? Something that you place down so allies will "Go Here" when idle. maybe you can ring it to make every ally on the map gather there, would help prevent the whole "Find the one ally who's still out gathering resources while night is falling" issue.
Still, Amazing Work! I will definitely keep an eye out for more updates!
how do I play the game? I extracted the file, clicked on the application but it somehow said an error message about checking my " system information if its x84 or x64 bit (Its x84 btw) and check for the appropriate application for my pc".
I actually rather like the 2d sprites/animations in the 3d world. With some adjustment (such as changing the sprite to another which would be drawn at an angle when the player looks too far up or down) the game would maintain a rather unique visual style. To be honest, the artwork is one of the things I like best.
Aside from that, maintaining the simplicity of the core gameplay and refining it to where it is first and foremost enjoyable to play seems like a good idea, and as far as that goes things seem to be right on track.
Anyway, I will of course be following this game from now on. I was pleasantly surprised to find it again after some time, thinking it an entirely new game from the one I had bookmarked quite some time ago now. I wanted to comment because I really like what you are doing and hoped to express that as well as provide a bit of encouragement. Keep it up! (´ ▽ `)ノ
you would need to adjust the difficulty a bit, but otherwise its a pretty good proof of concept! polish it a bit and try hireing someone to make 3d models and animation for the npcs! maybe once you get a bigger city you could have some other activities to do? maybe have your troops take on jobs and fuck in the street, as that is normalized at that point.
would be cool to see this evolve! i will keep track of this!
Yo dude, I didnt expect myself to enjoy this.. but BOI was I wrong. With some updates to the characters bodies and more detailed control settings this game will be very good survival game
Very cool and fun game, I am very excited to see what gets added next, I remember seeing something about more species and I believe it was in the controls where it said the attack button did something different per species or something(?). Do you have an estimate on when that might be added, if it ever is?
Thank you!! Well I'm supposed to finish the core mechanics for the end of March. Then I'll try to add more content, species and levels, every two months UwU
The final game should have 3 more species and 3 more levels. But that's an insane amount of work so ... fingers crossed!!!
This game is great and I'm loving it so far. I would like to see a save option and futa mc in the future and if we can recruit npc from different locations, it would be cool too.
Thank you very much!!! UwU There will be a way to recruit unique NPCs in the future, and have sex with futa NPCs. But no plan for a save system so far :3
Wonderfully well made with great art and good gameplay.
Although, I'm really not a fan of how quickly the skeletons bombard my NPCs and kill them off.
I've tried fending off the skeletons myself so they'd stay away from my NPCs, but it only worked for two nights. The bow is extraordinarily slow and each night has about 10(?) skeletons with it taking about 6 hits to only kill one. Both my female and male foxes ended up dying for good (Despite having houses) and there was presumably nothing I could do to get them back, leaving me to restart again.
The concept is really good, the building and general mechanics are fun, and the sex scenes are really hot (sadly there's only two from what I saw), but the nights at the beginning of the game are just too difficult for the NPCs. I heard of a leveling up system for the NPCs but I'm unsure of how to do that.
Not to mention, despite setting the days for 10 minutes it still feels much too short to prepare for the night.
And thank you for your response, I 'completed' the game. With 37 units and almost everything unlocked, though I gotta say, without a story or anything, why make it end? It seems like it'd be an endless grind-ish game. Although with a lot of units the game becomes a cakewalk, (also the risk of running out of materials) and with no saving I could see why.
Excuse me Boujieshin but ... who are you? What are you talking about? Who's working on a patch for which game? Mine? And what the hell with a kickstarter campaign?
This game is marvelous! I was initially skeptical, when I saw the style of the game, as a lot of 3D furry games are underwhelming, but once I started playing, I found it to be quite enjoyable!
You're on the right way :p ! Honestly though, very nice game, had a blast managing all the lil foxes and stuff. Keep up the good work, i'll be sure to follow you ! Looking forward to more updates too. Also, nice anims and art uvu
From what I played of it, it seems promising, for a prototype project
Just some things I think that could be worked on:
1 - There's not much variety to allies or enemies, and there's no neutral npcs
2 - Also not much variety to interactions with allies (both sfw and nsfw)
3 - The default day/night cycle seems too short (and I know there are custom settings, but I for one went straight for the default in the first few times around)
4 - No save system (at least that I could find)
5 - The controls are a bit weird (specially when trying to use a joystick)
Aside from that, I'm really digging the polished N64/DOS style of the graphics, what's already in the game when it comes to interactions is already interesting and I'm really curious about how procedural maps and biomes will be implemented

The game needs a bj animation.
There is one, just gotta find a male among the clones lmao
It's fun, but the jump scares me.
Also, I tried to like the game but there's no like button.
I think there is a rate button, itch.io is not really into the Like/Dislike model :O Thanks for your feedback!!! <3
Okay so basically, I can't find the rate button.
I think I'm blind. Either way I would rate 5 stars. :3
Edit: Two seconds later I find the rate button.
its along the top of the screen

10 Nights and the game is over sadly :<, managed to survive till night 10 with a 2-3 wall thick city, but ye.

release a version for Android
Honestly though, please make more! Maybe add more sex animations? or more variety's of characters to work with? interspecies mixes, etc
Thank you for your feedback!!!

Don't over work yourself friend! do the best you can and that'll always be enough!
oooh that’s super kind thank youuuu! <3
Pretty good, please make more like this!
I'm working hard to add more and more fun and content! Thank you for your answer!!! OwO
Such an ambitious game, much love to dev <3 <3

Requires a lot of work yet.
This shows great promise however.
Being able to play as other animals would be cool. Keep being awesome Malerouille!

It's all rocks.. xD
X'D looks like a really "hard" map
it was a little rough but i think i rocked it
Lmao what
I need help using the game. I can't seem to open the game due to having 'Unitydll' not found. Please some help?
(Btw I use 7-Zip)
Which platform are you using? PC or Mac? Did you downloaded the right version? Did you extract the whole file in the same folder?
PC, and Im sure I extracted the file in the same folder. Today I will try again, but thank you for caring for your users' comments!
'Scuse me for asking but will their be futa content added to this?
Yes probably among the future NPCs UwU
yay that's good to know
I love it, you have in mind make a "Infinite mode"?
A really long game probably but Infinite is unlikely :3
You've done a great job!
Thank you that's super kind!!
Bruh imagine this but online it would Oof
yesssss O . O
I tried to add some multiplayer features but it was too complicated for a one-man game UwU
ÚwÙ we will help you, i mean idk a thing but maybe i can help on something 😂
lol same ;w;
i love this game so much! OWO moments this make me wish i could save, so pretty ;w;

This is cool
Thank youuu OwO
Amazing ! this game is literally amazing with the size of 50Mb this game is addicting !
Thank youuu! I hope it'll be even better if I reach 100Mb X'D

could i ask why not a save feature? would be amazing to have their village and do what you please with multiple saves ^^
how do you have sex in this game
press x on a unit twice ^w^
Wonderfully well made with great art and good gameplay.

Right now a few units (dogs and berserkers) and the boss are missing UwU Plus a few more things will encourage exploration (NPCs, treasures, etc).
We're working on a new patch currently, it maybe be ready during the time the kickstarter campaign has started
Excuse me Boujieshin but ... who are you? What are you talking about?
Who's working on a patch for which game? Mine?
And what the hell with a kickstarter campaign?
Sorry about that, that was a misread on my part.
Filled out the newest feedback form, forgot to add that i reckon some way to make your army stronger would be good for late-game.
Hope you keep working on this project! it's really coming along now my dude
Thank you really much!!! OwO
This game is marvelous! I was initially skeptical, when I saw the style of the game, as a lot of 3D furry games are underwhelming, but once I started playing, I found it to be quite enjoyable!
Thank you that's adorable!! ♥
can you have a windows setup download for it? this means alot
There is already a PC version :0
My kkeyboard is a different version that doesn't have tab, i can't really play correctly
Hello! [esc] is the alternative key for the menu UwU
thanks
You're on the right way :p ! Honestly though, very nice game, had a blast managing all the lil foxes and stuff. Keep up the good work, i'll be sure to follow you ! Looking forward to more updates too. Also, nice anims and art uvu
Great work so far! Keep at it! Really glad you switched to the 2D style art that you used in your other game. Good choice.
Thank you!!! You're super kind OwO it's reassuring that people like this style!

Hello! Thank you very much for your feedback :3 I'll fix as many issues as possible in the next update!
From a fellow dev, keep it up, and don't give up
Thank you that's super kind!!
You can already do it making a Customized game in the start menu :3
Thank you for your feedback!! I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
